CM Revanth Releases ‘Gulf Bharosa’ Documentary on Migrant Welfare

Hyderabad:Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Saturday launched the mini-documentary Revanth Sarkar – Gulf Bharosa, produced by Pravasi Mitra Productions. The documentary sheds light on the Telangana government’s initiatives for the welfare of Gulf migrant workers, including the ex gratia payment of ₹5 lakh to the families of deceased migrants.

The documentary team visited several villages in northern Telangana, documenting the experiences of families of deceased Gulf workers, along with insights from migrant workers and community leaders. It also features testimonials from beneficiaries who received the financial assistance.

The release event was attended by key figures, including documentary producer and Gulf migration expert Manda Bheem Reddy, filmmaker and director P. Sunil Kumar Reddy, Telangana State Mineral Development Corporation Chairman and former MLA Anil Eravatri, Gulf JAC leader Chennamaneni Srinivasa Rao, cinematographer P.L.K. Reddy, and editor V. Kalyan Kumar. 

Saudi-based global Telangana NRI president and founder Mohammed Jabbar expressed gratitude for the government’s support in assisting migrant families.

The Gulf Bharosa initiative underscores the Telangana government’s commitment to ensuring the social security of its migrant workforce and their families.
